All MIDi files, as we knew them, have been wiped and will gradually be re-introduced to the BBS in a new collection: The H-MID-?.ZIP files will contain all MIDi files that existed here which are 20kb in size or less. Files larger than 20kb will remain as they are. Use the Archive Viewer in the File Menu if you’d like to see the contents of the alphabetically arranged archives.

Apologies for the BBS’s downtime on Tuesday but this was to the benefit of our resident sexual connoisseurs: I’ve finally gotten around to adding a few CD-ROMs (Group 10), which involved re-shuffling some of the other minor areas as well. The CDs will be rotated occasionally, probably on a weekly basis.

No, we have no affiliation with the British Royal Family Circus, nor do we particularly care about their extramarital excursions. What, however, has touched me was the untimely death of the brightest Jewel in the Royal Crown through a very unfortunate accident early this morning.
It was quite by chance that I was up the entire night, watching CNN, and later BBC and Sky, first announce the news of the accident, and finally the death of Princess Diana later as things progressed.
What makes this entire episode even more tragic is the way in which she died… I mean, freedom of the press is one thing, invasion of privacy is quite another! THIS INCIDENT WILL HAVE SOME REPERCUSSIONS, mark my words! Come to think of it, in a small and insignificant way, this very BBS even contributed to her death.

This machine’s full of surprises: Somehow the whole UserBase got deleted, how this happened is beyond me! I’ve managed to pain-stakingly recreate it, at the cost of deletion of a few lower-ranking users.

Some of you may have noticed that the BBS has been locking up and just plain hanging (at least I have) for seemingly inexplicable reasons and at the most inappropriate of times. Well, looks like there goes yet another hard drive controller. The problem has been sorted out, do let me know if this nonsense continues.
