Rewind: 2016

2016 is one of those years that shouldn’t have been. It’s a leap year we could rather have skipped over entirely. The world changed for the worse. Quite frankly, 2016 can fuck right off and die. A few glimmers of hope aside, it was wrought with death, shocks, disappointments and technical failures. Even circumstances at work are getting progressively intolerable. Continue reading

Rewind: 2015

What an eventful year. Marred by the wilful decimation of fellow human beings, this year has once again shown how adept the human race is at causing its own demise. We love harming one another. Xenophobia, part 2

The bloodbath is over, apparently all quiet on the southern front. The death toll has reached 62. The “Burning Man” has been identified and buried. Meanwhile, Zimbabwean billionaires who remain less than optimistic about their own free country’s blossoming future and negligible inflation rate continue to find holes in the border fence and flock to South Africa in droves. Continue reading
