As of today the HMVH Corporation BBS is no longer for subscribers only, but a Free/Ratios BBS. Undoubtedly you will notice that your security and access levels have changed (for the better :), and if you do not yet have full access, please read the various bulletins for full details.
As far as the noise problem is concerned, Telkom have finally admitted its existence and investigate further!!!
Right, the 1Gig is in, a new CPU with more punch… but still a god-damn noisy line… I can’t even get my own mail! Until that’s sorted out I’ll casually add on more files, if that’s alright with you and change a few things on the BBS along the way. Watch this space for details.
Bummer! The new hard drive has not been installed yet, my supplier has taken ill. And while we’re on bad news, the line noise fault has not yet been resolved either: A couple of Telkom monkeys came past, and it looks like things are worse now than before. Must I do everything myself!?
I have a few changes lined up for the BBS, the first being another hard drive for the tons of new files I have accumulated. A few improvements in the layout are also envisaged, but I’d like your advice on what you would like me to change or add to the system.
Expect, probably on Monday evening, the BBS to be off-line for a few hours as I install the new drive and start cramming on some files.
Oh, and it seems my phone line’s gone noisy again.
