BBS News: CLOSURE OF SHE BBS!

As of 22-06-95 SHE BBS is no more.

SysOpette Janet Blair has decided to terminate its existence due to continuous technical difficulties, despite the board’s popularity and great potential. SHE BBS shall be greatly missed, especially by this SysOp.

BBS News: Regarding Files…

I have just taken possession of about 250 or so text files, containing mostly Adult stories and Jokes. Expect them to be online over the coming few days as I personally inspect them ;)

Note: As of this day this BBS shall only support the following programs and file formats: GIF/JPG, ANSi, MODule, MIDi, BitMaP, ICOn, True-Type Fonts, Erotic or Funny text files as well as Hardware Utilities, Reviews, Diagnostics and Data of any kind.

If you have managed to log on, you have no doubt realised that the number for the HMVH Corporation BBS has changed.

Yes, I also found out quite by accident… at least connections are a lot faster now!

BBS News: Back on air!

After a few hardware problems (don’t shop at CTT!!) the system is finally back on line (at least the BBS is a tad faster now). Telkom are unable to solve the problem with the noisy line, so I’ve applied for a digital one which should be in service within the next few days… I’ll keep you informed of the new number.

Fuck, do I hate multiple faults!

Changing to lower gear: I’m having so much shit with this USR 28k8 of mine I’ve decided to slap the old generic piece of rubbish 14400 back in (at least it works) until I know exactly what’s going on with the USR.

Please be patient for a while, I’m still getting to grips with the whole Echo- and NetMail thingy… I should have it all installed, and hopefully working, before Windows 95 is released <G>.
