Last week the web was all aflutter about Microsoft’s poor photoshopping skills. Clearly, a lot of black males were outraged and a many a white male may have felt patronised but were it not for the benign demographic republic of geekdom that ultimately was insulted, this minor tempest in a tea cup could easily have become a global shitstorm in a Polish pisspot. Xenophobia, part 2

The bloodbath is over, apparently all quiet on the southern front. The death toll has reached 62. The “Burning Man” has been identified and buried. Meanwhile, Zimbabwean billionaires who remain less than optimistic about their own free country’s blossoming future and negligible inflation rate continue to find holes in the border fence and flock to South Africa in droves.
