From animals, via kids, through to dating, and currently marriage… can you spot a pattern here? Can you guess what the next theme is? Do you actually care? Does anybody give a shit? Is anybody actually reading this? Is there anybody out there? For those of you that are, my fellow observant fans, there’s some new stuff strewn around the site. So there.
As if it weren’t obvious, July is “animal month”… jokes and stories about them critters that also populate the planet and make up a staple part of our diet. And, in case you’re visually impaired, the crappy layout is no more: it’s been replaced by one that’s less shitty, showcasing my ever-progressing skills in site design and improvements in humility. So, what does the future hold for the HMVH Corporation BBS Online (as we’ve taken to calling ourselves again)?
The site will move over to a new, commercial host, allowing lots of space and bandwidth for all the added features and assorted rubbish you have and will come to expect from this site and its SysOp ;)
It’ll invariably take the form of a Blog, for reasons of practicality.
Some of its sub-sections (or mini-sites, if you will) will include some of the smut and other nonsense that featured on the old DOS-based BBS. That ought to be fun!
No, this is not a hoax nor an urban legend — there really is a place called “Fucking“.
It’s in Upper Austria, and the pictures were taken on 28. April 2005.
Nor is this minute community (it’s hardly even a village) particularly easy to find: Located around 30km north of Salzburg, the nearest town that’s visible on a map is a place called Ostermiething, along the 156 freeway, next to Hucking.
In case you’re wondering, Fucking is apparently named after a Bavarian nobleman named Focko, has been in existence since at least the year 1070, and it’s pronounced “fooking” — similar to the word “looking”.
Peculiar names are plentiful in this area: Nearby one can also find a charming village with the name of Au, and across the German border there are places called Tittmoning and Petting.
A god came forth and attempted to corrupt our mind with ideas and concepts of purity, responsibility, cleanliness, honesty, and their version of a truth. This devil was cast out, for the truth lies within. A few months later the pope had died.
Belief and religion are matters personal; morals cannot and should not be documented in a book. The real bible is the genetic code within our very soul and moral fiber, not what is forced upon by the sheep who pretend to know the truth whilst committing heinous crimes against themselves and humanity in the name of their supposed god and imaginary friend.
“Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by rulers as useful.” There is no religion higher than truth; and the truth is out there.
Hail to the gospel of Cyberia!
Remain faithless. Just be yourself.
Salutation: “Gratitude and salutations are extended to the usual unnamed DJ, the loving missus, our loyal fans and followers, Peter Weller, and www.discogs.com. This 12th episode in the continuing adventures in Cyberia was conceived and committed to disc for future generations during the month of December in the year of our lord 2004 for official release on December 31st, 2004. Pray for more in 2005…”

Arghh, man! I’ve just spawned another website, and compared to that beauty this beast looks like real shit! Very well then: 2005 shall be the year when it’ll get a major revamp. So there. I’m busy with other stuff. No deep, thought-provoking insight, nor scathing cynicism as of yet. Deal with it! Wait your turn.
Still busy with other shit… other websites, other projects. Got things to do, places to go, people to kill. Having a really terrific time finding a (free) host that’ll put up with my current project. Here’s some new jokes in the meanwhile! Now, leave me be…
Welcome to this month’s exciting edition of “What’s happening with the HMVHumourList?”
Once again, this issue is rather scant, since I’m still busy with other shit before I can devote the rest of my miserable life to this site, the layout of which is beginning to irritate me more and more.
