Yuletide and mix CDs
Rufus has completed his part of the mixing, now it’s up to me to complete the third disc and assemble the lot into some sort of coherent structure. Seems that he’s fed up with the whole “CeeJay Cyborgasm” gig and wants to hand over the reigns of his imaginary and illegal empire. Continue reading

(Re)discovering MiniDisc

This particular unit was released/manufactured in 1997, at a time when CDs had firmly established themselves as the de-facto standard for pre-recorded music and consumers were getting tired of the old analogue cassette. Cyberia XI: Quadrumatrix
“Cyberia XI” was a mammoth undertaking, inspired and spawned by volumnous .mp3 downloads through certain channels of questionable legalities — regardless of the RIAA’s efforts to curb creativity and the spread of new ideas, approaches, styles, and musical directions. This … Continue reading
Cyberia 8: As Seen On MTV!
.MP3 files and bootleg mixes were becoming an increasingly prominent feature of the Cyberia staple. This edition, too blatantly followed the typical style of a crappy, cheesy, tacky, funny, cartoonish, and childish compilation of the musical flavours of the “current … Continue reading
Cyberia 7: Dreaming Of A Better World
Not unlike “Cyberia 3”, this edition concentrated on the relatively recent dance/pop crossover genre pigeonholed as “vocal trance”. Generally uplifting, happy and positive, the style also reflected the current pantheistic state of affairs in the title of “Dreaming of a … Continue reading

Cyberia 6: Sex
“Cyberia 6” is about sex. It is hard and uncompromising and vulgar. It rapes and pillages all that was once holy virgin territory, and it breaks traditions as well as new ground. Continue reading
Cyberia 5: Blade
Not unlike its numerical forerunner, “Cyberia 5” was produced in an individually-numbered and strictly limited edition of twenty discs — signifying the end of an established fan base in a brave new world and heralding the beginning of a new … Continue reading
Cyberia Four: Against The Odds
While digging through old and obsolete technology, the ridding of dated media, leaving behind past passions and hobbies, the reasons and roots of how we came to be where and who we are became apparent. Another time of turmoil began … Continue reading
